Dwa Jingchengi startowały w Dakarze w 2011, ale nie pamiętam ich wyniku, ani co to za sprzęty. Trzeba w necie pogrzebać.

On the Chinese message boards, most people agree with the consensus here. It's a yamaha wr450 with jincheng stickers. It's not uncommon in Chinese 4x4 races to see rebadged mitsubishi pajeros with Chinese logos and insignias where the mitsubishi ones should be.

BTW, the JinCheng brand in China makes mostly sub $1500 motorcycles. They have nothing close to this type of model. They don't even have a dual sport (or any off-road bikes) at all.

For Jincheng to have built such a modern motorcycle (developed in house) that was suddenly brought out for the toughest off-road race on the planet (and it just coincidentally looks like a yamaha wr450) and have it perform with no mechanical issues is... well... impossible.

Still, I'd love to be in their shoes right now, experiencing the dakar from whatever make their bike truly turns out to be.
